I was hanging out with some good friends recently, and we're all very close with our moms. But they said that they fight a lot with their moms (maybe more like bicker) even though they are super close. I don't think I've fought with my mom in at least 10 years, It may have to do with the fact that I'm very nonconfrontational, but I really can't think of an instance where I was mad at her in the past decade!

Hardly ever... we had a misunderstanding that was pretty emotional this summer, but we are really open with each other and we know that we never intend to hurt each other ever so things are always cleared up quickly and easily.

We used to a lot. Then she got sick with cancer and we didn't fight for years. But I had a lot of pent up issues that kind of all came out recently and we had our worst fight ever and I refused to speak to her for a few months. Now, things are a lot better and our relationship is having a bit of a rebirth now that LO is here. She has been a huge help to me during this time.

I can't even recall ever fighting? Maybe as a teen we would have shouting battles which would end in me saying "when I'm 18...". But nothing since. We're very peaceful if/when we disagree.

No serious fights, but I tend to get annoyed or impatient with her or she will scold me about something from time to time.

Very rarely, my mom is very understanding and level headed so we hardly fight. Her embarrassing me and me getting annoyed? Now that happens often

We hardly ever fight. Neither of us are confrontational people so that probably has something to do with it. If we're mad about something, we usually just stay quiet and let it blow over.

Yeah very rarely. Usually I just keep my mouth shut and rant to DH instead.
