Yesterday it was raining out, and I was on the subway with the kids... and one older woman started lecturing me on me how I shouldn't take the kids out when it's raining.

I had a stroller raincover with me, but I guess she didn't notice or care? I wish I had had a witty retort, but she was older so I just was deferential to her and didn't say anything. Of course, after the fact I came up with all these witty retorts I *should've* said to her!

In any case, we went to the local children's museum and the kids had a blast. That's what's important, and it was totally worth it to me to go out in the rain. Today though I was sore from all that walking and so we stayed home other than a quick trip to the grocery store!
