My hair grows really fast, so if I wanted to maintain the same length, I should get it cut about every six to eight weeks. Problem is, I only get my hair cut by my stylist back home, a plane ride or 12 hour drive away! Right now it's been 3 months and I'm hoping I can hold on another 2 before I'm back home... but it's already driving me crazy!

About every 4-5 months. Id go more often but it's about an hour drive each way plus the 3 hours to get my hair highlighted and cut. Last time I left at 9am and didn't get back till 4pm due to LA traffic. Not to mention its kinds pricey

I have long hair so I can go 4-5 months without cutting it. I'm holding out on cutting my hair because I'm going to donate my hair and it needs to be a certain length.

every 6+ months when growing it out. And I'm almost always growing it out because every once in a while I get a major crop...

I used to cut it once a year, but now I get it done every 3-4 months.

I haven't even had a trim since lo was born, she's 7 months. Its pretty bad, but its in a pony every day anyway. I tend to just let it grow until I have enough to donate then I chop it all off. Next time will be my 4th time donating.

@artbee: I did that for a while too, but I only donated 3 times. I like the change of a big crop, but then I always end up wanted to let it grow out again!

My hair grows really fast and the ends get split if I don't cut it often (I have super straight hair, and lots of it!) In pregnancy I've had to get it cut every 8 weeks....otherwise I try to push for 10-12.

Not very often! I normally go in, chop it to my shoulders and then let it grow for a year or more. Repeat cycle.

Every 6 weeks but mine is chin length so I have to! I wish it was long so I could tie it back but it is really fine and baby soft. Blah.
