Never. When DH and I were long distance we used to use... Skype, I think? I can't remember.

R and I try and facetime occasionally with DH when he is traveling but at 6 (before bath and bed) he is usually working and can't do it.

I only use FaceTime when D's out of town and only since E was born.

Almost never. I talk to my mom every day but just on the phone. When she first got an iPhone she decided she wanted to try FaceTime and we both agreed it was super awkward.
My MIL has discovered Skype though and wanted to Skype with us on Christmas. We did but I hated it. I feel SO AWKWARD just staring at a person talking. Why do we need to see each other? Boo lol. She loved it though and it seems she wants to Skype more often so she can see how I'm coming along (I offered to send her bump pics! lol). I think I'll be more okay with it when I have the baby because I understand she'll want to see the baby and for the baby to see her and its not like she'll be able to talk. But then at least I'll have a prop(child) to bounce in front of the camera so I don't feel so on-the-spot.

Probably 2-3 times per week. My sister's army station is almost 1,500 miles away, and she definitely misses us and is bummed to miss my pregnancy and delivery of our first baby. So she chats with us a lot. I'm so thankful for technology.
ETA- She accidentally just FT called me while at work just now. Hehe.

not often. we use at at work during business trips & i use it occasionally with my dad when i need him to talk me through something- like when our heat stopped working in a snowstorm, we used face time so i could show him the inside of the furnace & the thermostat & he could hear what noises it was making.
if i'm on the phone chatting, i'm usually doing other things, the person on the other end really doesn't NEED to watch me cook dinner or fold the laundry, so i prefer to just chat without them seeing me.

I've Facetimed the hubby a couple times when I was on maternity leave. I Facetimed my parents a couple times last month because my mom had gall bladder surgery and thought seeing DS would cheer her up. Other than that, nope!

We use skype with our families, it's a great way for them to see our son.
When I was long distance with my husband, we had tried video chatting, but I felt more at ease when just talking. I used to wear a wireless headset for that, lol.

We FaceTime my MIL almost every day. She lives across the country and loved to just watch the boys play. We'll chat while she watches them. I agree, it would be awkward to just FaceTime and talk with her without the boys!
We try to Skype my parents occasionally so they can see the boys but honestly it's not as interesting for my boys. My parents tend to just sit there and watch and don't really try to engage them through video, so they lose interest more quickly.

Barely, though I should more! For some reason I just text w/ my mom & sister instead of FaceTime... And we have relatives overseas but we don't really chat with them either. Now I'm thinking I should do it more often!

We use Skype with the inlaws every couple of weeks, usually on the weekends. Sometimes we Facetime with my parents. My dad Facetime'd with me on Christmas Eve while he was at my brother's house. It was nice to see them since it was my first Christmas in a long time away from them.

I skype with a friend teaching in Korea...once a week, sometime every other week. We FaceTime with my dad weekly!
