I'd say every other week but she's 6 months and we had nothing. But it's little stuff from Amazon. It will slow down now since I feel like we are set. Our house is pretty big so I wanted toys for the main level where her pnp is and in her room. I think I will do spark box toys when she's a little older.

I voted every other week although if we count stupid cheap happy meal type toys that dh gets him it's probably every week. I'll often get a book or something random about once a month and he gets big toys rarely. Either way it's way too many!!!

Voted every other week but it can be less than that. It would/will be less if/when she's in daycare or preschool. But because so far she has not been she spends a lot of time playing with these toys! Definitely feel like we get our money's worth more than with clothes!

I voted every month but I'm not sure. Probably more often. My husband loves buying the boys toys. He was third boy in his family and only had hand me downs. He's living vicariously through them.

We generally only do it on special occasions, occasionally we buy something just because. Last week I bought him a giant plastic dump truck that was on clearance at target. Then before that I bought him some stuff for his water table/ kiddie pool at the beginning of the summer.

Once a month maybe.... Maybe a bit more. Often it's a ball from the dollar store. He loves balls and plays with nothing else!

Little things <$8 or so, like books or balls, he gets about every 3 weeks from us, and his grandparents buy him a monthly "birthday" present and plan to through his 2nd bday. We only buy "big" toys probably about every 3-4 months (anything over $15/20 I would consider big)

Whenever her grandmas are feeling generous, roughly every 2-3 months. We've never bought her a toy.

I said every other month. Our LO only gets new toys on special occasions or if we are in a really cool shop that ha a fun stuff(I usually stay out of those!). I went a bit crazy during his first year and bought heaps of expensive toys, which he got bored of eventually. And since he's grown he has stopped playing with toys in general so I've eased off. We get books all the time though as he loves them.

We buy things on a regular basis and I am starting to regret it, actually, because my son seems to have no appreciation for what he does have and he now expects something every time we set foot in a store.

The problem is that it's small things, like a $3 truck, so they don't take up a lot of room, but I have a collecting issue. *I* like to collect the cars, trucks, trains, whatever. I wasn't able to as a child, so I do it now.

I voted quarterly. That said, LO2 rarely gets anything but hand me downs from LO1. She's also not old enough to care. LO1 gets occasional random gifts from family. DH and I buy toys as a special occasion for birthdays, holidays and occasionally a new toy for travel or something similar.
