11.5 months and 2 naps/day during the week, anywhere between 1 & 2 hours long. The weekends are tough but if he only gets one nap he'll sleep between 2-3 hours!

LO is 14 months and is a once/day napper. He will sleep anywhere from an hour to 3 hours depending on what's going on. He unfortunately gave up his morning nap at 10 months

4 months and naps are starting to get a little predictable- 1.5 hour naps morning and early afternoon, shorter 45 min nap late afternoon. Not consistent, but getting there.

@Adira: When did that happen? What times is he taking them?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Smurfette: It started happening right around 9 months. He now is basically on a 3-3-3 schedule (3 hours awake, then nap). As you know, I've been having issues with his napping at daycare, but right around 9 months, I decided to try just skipping the 3rd nap (because he was waking up around 3:00/3:30 at daycare from his 2nd nap) and he was able to go 3 hours without a problem! I had also noticed that a lot of the times when I put him down in the morning after 2 hours, it'd take him an hour to fall asleep. So I started keeping him up for 3 hours (unless he was showing signs of being sleepy) and it seems to be working perfectly! I think he's been on a 2-nap schedule for 2 weeks now!
Oh, and as for the times, he usually naps around 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., though it still depends on when he wakes up and how long he sleeps for. And a couple times at daycare he only did one nap (12:00 - 2:00) and I just kept him up until 6:00 and put him to bed early, but he was in a good mood the entire time, so it worked!

@Smurfette: Maybe try it with R on the weekend and see how she does? I feel like now that Xander is doing two naps, they tend to be longer! (Although not always - yesterday he only took a 25 minute nap and a 50 minute nap)

@Adira: Maybe....This weekend she was so tired, but part of that was the cold. She took 3 long naps both days. I just wish she would sleep longer at day care.
