I haven't done an Easter basket for the past couple of years, but now that she's 2, I think she would enjoy it. I'm at a loss to what to put in there, besides tons of candy.
What do you put in your LO's basket?

DS will be 17 months this Easter.
We will probably do a stuffed animal, puzzles, book, etc.
MIL is throwing her annual egg hunt, so he'll be a part of that this year too

Chalk eggs, playdough filled eggs, books, crayons, paints, a stuffed animal, clothes, snacks they like, drink bottle, bath crayons, bath foam, I can go on and on.
I never do candy in easter baskets. There's so much stuff out there!

My LO will be 20 months and I plan on putting a couple of books, a new stuffed animal, some cookie treats and new crayons and coloring book. Maybe not very original but I know it'll be things he'll be excited about.

She will be 13 months. Not sure what I am going to do for sure, but some ideas I had are a book, some Little People, bubbles, head band/hair clips, sunglasses, and maybe some puffs.

LO will be 15-months at Easter. We already bought her an Easter board book for her basket. I'm also planning on including bubbles, an alphabet puzzle, and a pair of shoes.

I was thinking of checking out the Target $1 section. I'm hoping to find some stickers, and coloring books... for cheap!
ETA: She will be 21 months.

When is Easter?
Dd will be 10ish months and I think I'll do a book, a jellycat stuffie, and some mum mums?

Oh, ad since we're at it - any good Easter book recommendations that are based on the Easter bunny, not Jesus?

She will almost be 2. I am going to splurge on a Jellycat bunny for sure!
Maybe: crayons & coloring book, Color Window, reusable Easter stickers? Good call on bubbles! Gardening set
@NurseMommy: 4/20. I think I'm going to look for a book either about Spring, bunnies or Chicks!

@NurseMommy: Easter is April 20!
My LO will be 10.5 months. If we do a basket, I imagine some practical things like sunglasses, sun hat, a book or 2, finger paints, etc.

I will recycle Jellycat bunnies that we already own, puffs, puree pouch, coloring books and bubbles.
My MIL will give her treats! My 2 year old can have one/some but I will eat the rest!

@MoonMoon: oh, good call! I do want to get her toddler sunglasses.

A spring book, I want to find some heart shaped sunglasses, maybe a new stuffed animal, a new hair bow, and some "cheddies" aka Annie's cheddar bunnies. DD will be 20.5 months

She will be a year old, almost exactly, so getting a ton of stuff for her birthday too! We're probably going to do a couple egg shakers and a chicken puzzle Maybe wait and see what she doesn't get for her birthday and fill in from there.

Easter baskets aren't really a thing here. Kids dress-up as witches instead and go door to door asking for candy in exchange for a drawing or a little song. More like Halloween.
DD is now old enough to dress up, but we'll just take her to a little town fair with festivities. The traditional outfit is a little apron with a hanky on the head. I need to find her one soon!

She's be getting healthy snacks, a DVD, hair stuff, maybe some M&Ms, and sunglasses.

@locavore_mama: We have a pink Jellycat bunny that makes a really sweet chime sound when you shake it, I love it!
In the UK we don't really do Easter baskets, Kids just get LOADS of chocolate eggs with sweets inside and she's too young for that so I not sure what we'll do. She'll be 17 months so I may just put out some of the Eastery things she already has for her to rediscover (colourful plastic eggs, pop-up book, lamb, bunny)

I would love to do some candy for the first time for my 4 year old now that he's older this year, but now he's got a 1 year old sister who would definitely freak out if she saw him eating something she wasn't allowed to have. I will most likely be putting together easter baskets with some healthy snacks, maybe marshmallow peeps, and coloring books / crayons / stickers / etc.

I don't think we are going to do baskets this year. My mom always does one for the kids, and it's just overkill for us. Last year I got my DD a small dollar bin stained glass painting kit from Michael's as her Easter gift. I may do something similar this year for the kids! They are 5 and 2.

I was brainstorming yesterday, here are my ideas:
1 year old: personalized beach towel, hair bows, book, toy remote control (I don't have high hopes, but right now the remote is the only thing she plays with), toddler fork and spoon and yogurt melts
Almost 3 year old: Onaroo clock (been asking for one since we spent the night with cousins), Do-A-Dot, Play Dough Tools, book, new toothbrush and toothpaste and a limited amount of candy
