I want to get M's bangs cut but I don't want that to be her first haircut experience. I may wait a little longer until we can cut more than just bangs.

DD was 17 months old. Just a nice shaping of the back, which was quite mullet-y.

DD was over two, maybe 26 months old. DS was younger, he was 14 months or so.

M is 10.5 months and, at this rate, it's going to be at least 5 years

We're having the hair cut debate. Old ladies stop me on the street to lecture me on how I'm a bad mom for not cutting lo's hair.

18 months to avoid the dreaded mullet. He doesn't have a ton of hair, so it wasn't enough to take him somewhere. Luckily my BIL was cutting my nephews' hair, so I just threw him in the chair next.

DS1 was two months shy of being 3 years old. His hair was pretty long, and mullety, but he was so darn cute! DS2 is 19 months and hasn't had a haircut yet.

11 months! I swear people thought he was a girl because his hair was so long.

we all know DS was born with mama's hair... he got his first haircut at six months!

I gave him an amateur get-rid-of-the-mullet cut at 3 months. Then at 10 months we had a friend (who works at a family salon) cut his hair, because he looked like a girl! it was flopping in his eyes all the time O_o

2, we just did her bangs. I'm ok with that... She hated every second so it was good that it was quick.

5 months--his hair grows really fast! At 17 months we've given him 4 hair cuts.

At about 11 months old. His hair was getting out of control. My DH's salon was happy to do it.

@oliviaoblivia: whaaat? She has gorgeous hair!! Don't cut it! My DD would have a panic attack if I took her to cut her hair thanks to stranger anxiety!

She's 2 and still has not had a cut!

we buzzed it at 5 months, it was so scraggly and awful looking!!

He got his first haircut right after his first birthday, he did really well until the clippers came out.

7 months. And another at 9.5 months. And he's getting his third cut this weekend. His hair grows like crazy and is stick-straight. If he had some curl, I'd be tempted to let it grow out a little, but it just looks like crap when it gets long.

D got his first hair cut at 6 months. I just couldn't stand it being in his eyes anymore.
