LO is 22 months and can sit for an hour or more watching kids' TV (best Mum ever here, haha!) but I'm not sure how that compares to sitting still in a darkened theatre room watching something she's probably not really going to fully understand!

Around me they have $1 or free kid movies in the summer. They aren't new releases (I've seen Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 many times in a theater hahaha), but if you have to leave early it doesn't matter! We went last summer when my middle was over two and he did great. This summer I have a 19 month old, and he did not do well, so we have to wait until next summer to take him to movies

C is 2 and we haven't yet. She can sit and watch multiple episodes of Daniel tiger no problem, but we tried watching frozen once and she got about 45 minutes in before getting bored and wandering around. I'm in no rush though- why pay to bring her to a theater when she can rot her brain at home for free?? (Kidding... Kind of. )

DD was 2.5 and we watched Frozen
DS is also 2.5 and watched the latest Minions movie.
With both kids, they lasted awhile but couldn't get to the end - had to leave about 20 minutes before the end. If we hadn't stayed for previews I think we would've made it!
