I only have one LO at the mo but he got his first cold just shy of 5 weeks.

@2littlepumpkins: Fevers under two months are what worry the doctors and can be scary (hospital stay and lots of tests scary). My older LO got a fever the first week the baby was home but we managed to keep her from infecting the baby. He is now 10 weeks and has had a little congestion but no true sickness yet.

I unfortunately know of a lot of 2nd LOs who were born in the fall/winter who caught bad colds when they were very young, and for a few of them it turned into RSV I plan to do a LOT of hand washing but other than that not sure how to avoid sickness, especially since LO1 is just starting his first preschool program now.

DS got his first cold at about 5 weeks, fortunately there was no fever. He's 3 months now and is just getting his 2nd cold.

T had a cold before stating daycare at 13 weeks. Probably around 10 weeks? I can't remember, honestly. He got some summer cold, but he was born mid May, so we lucked out there.

Not only did DD#2 get really sick early, but so did I! I thought I was going to die... Someone brought a nasty cold with a horrendous sore throat home, and he and I caught it when he was a month old.

I'm due with my fourth in December, and this time I have a kindergartener! I have a strong feeling my fourth and I will be ill early on this time too.

LO got her first cold at 5 weeks. I was on the phone with the nurses at our dr office a lot that week.

She got her first stomach bug at 4 months - that was way worse. She wouldnt eat or keep anything down by the end of the 2nd day we were in ER for fluids and after that she was much better.
