Bought 1st car at 19 and just bought a house this yr when I was 23! (24 now)

I bought my first car when I was 23. I was so proud!! Every car before then had been purchased for me by my Dad so, this made me feel like a real adult.

I bought my first house by myself when I moved to NC. I was 27, I think. My parents went with me to closing and I had the worst bellyache ever I was so nervous. We had to stop at a gas station so I could go and then I started worrying more because I thought they wouldn't go through with the sale if I was late!! Plus, I hate being late for things!!

I haven't bought a car yet. I like to lease and change cars every few years.

We bought our house when we were both 29. We didn't need a house before that because we didn't have kids yet. We lived in the city where it didn't make sense to buy.

I bought my first car when I was 21 and I bought my first house (a condo) when I was 22. I sold it at 27 and bought a townhouse at 27. We now rent out the townhouse and bought a family house with DH at 34.

I have yet to buy a car of my own. I shared DH's car for a few years, and now I am the primary driver since he bought a used car 2 years ago. We purchased our home in 2009, and I had just turned 23. DH was 27, and we borrowed money from my FIL for the down payment. We were kind of young but definitely needed to move out of my in-law's house. We decided to skip renting and went straight to owning.

Got my first car and my first house at the same time when i was 29. Had to get the car since we were moving to the suburb and i needed it to get to work. I was terrified of driving for the longest time.

My mom loaned me money for a car when I was 17, and I paid her back. Bought our house when we were 23, and bought a new car at 23 as well!

34 and have never done either! I've been a NYC girl my whole life, so haven't needed/wanted a car. Hopefully will buy a house before I'm 40!

I "bought" my first car when I was 22 from my brother. It was also the first car I'd ever driven as well, at 22.

I bought our first house at 24 the same week DH and I got married. We were already living in the house we bought. Talk about stressful.

I'm 24 and have never bought a car or a house. I inherited my grandmother's car when she passed away and then when SO bought a truck, I just took his car. Hopefully I'll do both next year though when I'm 25.

I bought a car when I was 22, although my dad fronted me the money and let me repay him instead of a bank so I could get lower monthly payments. He charged interest though! DH and I bought our house when I was 27.

I bought a '92 Plymouth Acclaim for $500 when I turned 16. It was great. I got a '94 Geo Prizm when I was 20. That's it though, I haven't bought a car since then, and we haven't bought a house yet.

first car, i was 15 and couldn't even drive yet =D first house, hasn't happened yet, but i'm 28 and we're looking for a house now. so hopefully before i turn 29, but maybe not.

My parents gave me a car for graduation, which got totaled and I used the money from the insurance to purchase another car. I guess that qualifies as me buying a car. I was just shy of 19.

We own a house, but DH inherited it... so we didn't really buy it.

Purchased first car on my own at 22. House at 31 after DD was born.

First car at 24 (but my parents paid for half of it... does that count?) And then DH and I bought our first condo at 28.

We bought our house when I was 26. I am very embarrassed to admit that I have never bought a car. I've had three like-new hand-me-downs from my mum. This most recent car will be the last hand-me-down though, so I expect I will buy a new car sometime by or before I'm 35 (currently 30).
