My first boyfriend was when I was 17, but I don't could high school relationships as "real" only because I had no idea what I was doing.
My first REAL boyfriend was when I was 20-22, very tumultuous relationship.

I was 16, almost 17, when I started dating DH. We were really serious about each other from the start. We got married at 21 (last summer), but we broke up for 8 months when I was 19. I dated someone else for a month or so during that time, but it was pretty casual.

My first ever relationship started my sophomore year of high school and lasted until a month after graduation. Like you, I also don't consider that a "real" relationship. I'd say my 3rd boyfriend after that was the first one I really, truly considered real and even then it only lasted officially for about a month.

Same. I was 21ish. Looking back now, I don't consider him a real boyfriend. My first "real" boyfriend was when I was 25ish? It's all a blur!

I was 19, we met online and had a ldr for 2 years! Looking back at how different we are, I have no idea how we worked that out. I guess I must've been a little crazy. Still am.

I'm not really sure what you mean by "real". My first boyfriend was when I was 14. I was young but he was 18 and we dated for over a year and were serious about each other so I would consider that real.

@chopsuey119: @Rubies: Hehe. He wasn't technically my first boyfriend, but he was my first relationship that lasted more than a month. I always got sick of guys exactly 4 weeks after I found out they liked me back. I was really mean to some really great guys. But alls well that ends well... Rob Sr. stuck!
