I'm the oldest of 4, my mom was 23 when I was born. My dad had just turned 28. My mom became a grandma in her early 50s. I realize if the trend continues and my DD has a baby the same age I did, I'll be a grandma at 60.
I think our parents generation is probably one of the last generations that will see many 1st time grandparents under the age of 60.

My parents were older than average. My mom was 31, my dad 30. I'll be 32 I hope and DH 43... He has just started to do the math on when he'd be a grandpa, if our trend continues he will be getting up there!

My mom was 28 when she had my older brother, 31 when she had me, had a miscarriage when I was a toddler, and 38 (is that right?? wow) when she had my younger sister. I am the first of my siblings to be married, and my parents have not been blessed with any grandchildren yet. Dad just turned 60 and mom is 58 this year.
ETA: If our sticky baby dust hopes go according to plan, I will be 27 and DH will be almost 41 when we have our first LO.

My dad was 23 and my mom was 20 when I was born. My mom is 43 now and my dad is 46. I'm trying to make them grandparents now. My entire family had children young. I'm 23, my mom is 43, my grandmother is 62, and my great grandmother is 79.
My husband's family waited a little longer to have children, and my husband is 30 so he is following them. His mom is 56 and his grandmother is 78.

My parents were actually older than we hope to be when we have kids. They were 30 and 36 when I was born and they had my sister 3 years later. DH and I will hopefully be 23-24 when we have our first.

I'm the youngest of 3 and my mom was 30 and my dad was 28 when I was born. They will be 53 and 51 when they become grandparents when I have my son in April.
Honestly, I hope to be a grandma before I'm 60- that'll give my son until he's 36, afterall.

My parents were much older than the norm...I'm 25, almost 26. My mom was 38 and my dad was 40. We're TTC now, and I think we're definitely on the younger side for parents (for our area anyway--I think I would practically be like a teen mom in NYC).

I'm the youngest child and my mom was 27 and dad was 29 when they had me. My sister is 2.5 years older so they started at 24 and 26.

Mom was 32 and dad was 41. Way old for their generation!! We always laugh because my dad is 18 years older than my mother in law.

My parents were 21 and 22 when they had me, I am the oldest. I am amazed that they were married for almost a year and owned a home for about the same amount of time before I was born and they did it so young.
I am 28 and DH will be 33 when our LO is born, and we will have been married just under 2 years, and have owned our house for just under 3 years when baby is born.
I am glad my LO will have such young grandparents, they will have a long time with them around.

My mom was 33 when I was born, and my dad was 37 and I was their first. I'm 30 and my husband is 46. My husband's parents were very young when they had him (like, 20 and 21 maybe?) so all the grandparents are roughly the same age, despite our age difference.

First marriage and first baby for both of us. (We've been together/lived together 12 years, just got married in January though)

My mum was 32 and my daddy was 60 when I was born. My brother was born when my mum was 28 and my daddy 56. Obviously my daddy was much older than average; we were his only children though.
In the year my little sister was born (2005; she is adopted) my mum was 48 and also became a grandma.
I hope to have my first at 22, my DH will be 26. His parents were 25 and 29 when they had him, he is the oldest.

I'm the oldest of two, mom was 28 (my age now) and dad was 30 (DH's age now) when the conceived... hopefully 2012 brings us good news! I was actually born on my mom's 29th birthday, if we get pregnant this cycle I might be due right around our birthdays!

My parents were 31 and 33 when I was born. They had my brother at 29 and 31. At the time, my mom was considered old when she had us. Now, I'm 31 and DH is 33 right now. I have my birthday mid-February, so I'll be 32 next year.
