I never bother texting him because he's really bad at responding. We use gchat on our phones but that's hit or miss when he's not working, and it will usually take him hours to reply if he is working. Basically, I have to call him if I really need something. He just not a texter!

Right away as long as he has his phone with him and he's not in a meeting or driving.

Pretty quickly most of the time, bough we keep ou phones on silent most of the time so if he's working he might not see it immediate) then I send gchat or fb message to get his attention more quickly since that pops up on his work comp faster if it's time sensitive).

Quickly, but my husband usually has his phone in his pants pocket. I am the issue, it can be hours before I respond to a text.

Slowly! I tend to text things as I think of them so sometimes there's a huge wall of text messages in our conversation just from me and then I think I look super crazy and refuse to text until he's sent something.

Pretty slowly, especially when he is at work... although now he has a Garmin that it goes to so it is a little better!

It depends. If it's something important I just call because he rarely texts back immediately. Sometimes he doesn't respond at all! I can't blame him because I most of the time I have no clue where my phone is.

Hardly ever. He used to not text at all so this is an improvement.

Usually right away unless he's in a meeting. Same goes for me. If it's urgent I call him and I expect him to pick up right away.

It's variable. Sometimes I get an immediate response, sometimes it takes hours. There's no telling with his job.

It depends on how busy he is. Sometimes he gets back to me right away. Sometimes he doesn't get back to me until much later, if at all.

Usually pretty quick, especially since his Fitbit tells him he has a text. Particularly now, since I'm nearly 36 weeks pregnant!

We both don't prioritize our phone responses. We use it for outgoing purposes rather than incoming. It used to bother me a little but I can't say anything because I'm the same way.If he doesn't respond, he has his hands full, driving or the phone is in another room in the house. If I don't respond, I didn't bother to charge my battery or it is lost in the house or stuffed in my purse with volume almost always off.

My cousin had me text my husband about giving meds to our dog on NYE and he didn't text back but she kept asking me about it throughout the day. Finally she asked, What happens if it is something super important and he doesn't check his text? I said, We use our best judgement and make a decision independently with the info that we have and let the chips fall. If I get a random sweet text during the day, it is super surprising! In fact, whenever I get an immediate response, I'm pretty surprised.

I forgot to mention, my husband wears a smart watch. He will get a text alert there, which is typically why he responds so quickly.
