I have been craving a bloody Mary for months....

I think not even 1 week later. But I haven't had another one since. I just needed to get that craving to leave.
If you love bloody mary's , you'll LOVE bloody ceasars! (it's a canadian thing)

What is a bloody Caesar?? I really wanted a bloody Mary before I found out I was PG and never got one and now 9 months later I swear, it's all I can think about!

I really want a mudslide, but I'm nursing and pumping (for pump and dump) is such a pain.

About 3 weeks pp. I have maybe 1 drink a week now, usually none because I'm exhausted.

My first beer (1, I didn't go too crazy haha) was just under 4 weeks pp at a 4th of July bbq, I've had one other beer and one glass of wine since then and J will be 2 months on the 8th. It's hard to justify the drink when you're so tired/and breastfeeding.

I've already told DH I want either a glass of wine or a glass of champagne in the hospital! It probably won't take much since I haven't drank in so long...I took 2 sips of DH's malbec last week and when I stood up my legs felt like rubber:)

The day after LO was born (still in the hospital)! My parents brought champagne....our family celebrates all big events with champagne, and LO's birth was no different.
@Lydg: would a virgin bloody mary satisfy the crave? I drank those all through pregnancy....sooooo, soooo good. Love bloody mary!

Just yesterday so 6 weeks pp. it was delicious.

Maybe three weeks later? I think it was a beer, and I couldn't even finish the whole thing. Since then I have had a couple margaritas.....so delicious!

3 weeks pp for our anniversary. Since then I drink one or two beers or glasses of wine a week.

@MamaMoose: I'm with you on that one. I told my husband multiple times to bring me a bottle of zin in the hospital!!

Mine was 3 months later! I had a beer and felt so drunk!

I am dying! We just got back from World Market and looking at all the delicious beers killed me. I haven't had one sip of alcohol since finding out I was preg. @yoursilverlinng I can't...I'm on low-sodium diet due to pretty bad edema & even virgin is loaded with salt!

2 weeks after. We went out for Valentines Day.
@EloiseKE: You don't have to pump and dump (unless you're engorged and need the relief). Once the alcohol is out of your system, it's out of your milk too.
I don't want you to have to pump unnecessarily.

@lydg: I had mine at 4 weeks, when I first introduced a bottle so I'd know I could feed him some pumped stuff if he got hungry before my 2 hours and 20 minutes or whatever was up.

@lydg: Ceasar is a Canadian drink, like a bloody Mary but made with clamato juice instead of tomato juice. I LOVE ceasars and when I'm in the states I have ordered a bloody mary and I don't like it.

haha the day I got home from the hospital :):) I had half a glass of wine. It was a German wine that means "Mothers Milk" and it supposed to be good for milk-letdown lol

a couple days ago i have a couple sips of dh's beer. P's almost a month old.
