My job has been amazingly flexible with me returning to work. I've come back to 3 shorts days a week, next week I'll make it 4. I set the hours that I want to work. Because of how nice they've been, I don't want to take advantage of them, but I'd like to work at home once in a while.
I have some projects to do that wouldn't require me to access our POS software or call customers, rather I would just need to hang out with my design software and design promo flyers. I wouldn't ask to work from home even 1 day a week, maybe 1 every 2 or 3. It would be great on days when DH is supposed to be with LO and I need to work but he has to go in. Instead of putting her with the baby-sitter for an extra day, I could just stay home.

Does that seem reasonable to you? Other than the boss, there isn't any other position that would allow to stay at home, so the issue hasn't come up before. Plus, I'd be able to stay in contact with the store via email and cell anyways.
