Hi, I'm new here! I regularly read the blogs and posts, but have just registered myself. I have a 4-yr old and a 1.5-yr old, both girls.

Anyway, my question for this post is, how have you dealt with a toddler (4 yr old) lying? Our situation is that she gets to watch about half an hour of TV at the end of each day at preschool. I'm the past, I have picked her up early and know she missed the TV time, so I have let her watch a bit at home. Now, every day when I get her she says she has not watched tv at school so that she can wrangle some more
TV time at home - even when I know with absolute certainty that she has. Flat out telling her I don't believe her, pretending that I do believe her but saying sorry, but still no TV at home have resulted in huge tantrums. There are other fibbing situations as well, but this is the one we deal with every day. Thoughts?
