We were a very private family and did not do naked time together. You're naked in private and that's it. I think that's how we'll be with our daughter, as well.

@blushink: I have 2 sisters + mom and we are the same way! We are not shy around each other at all. We've always been very comfortable with nudity. My poor dad was also outnumbered but he never seemed to mind too much, he just let us do our thing most of the time.

We were pretty modest in my family - there was never any naked time, haha. But we were a family or four with two boys and two girls (dad, mom, brother, me), so I'm not really sure how that would work out. When my brother and I were REALLY little, we took baths together, but I honestly don't even remember it, so it must've been when we were really young.

I've changed in front of girl friends before in college (roommates), but we were always respectful of each other and turned away when the other was changing.

I have two brothers and a very self-conscious mom. My dad would walk around in his underwear in the summer, but we never had naked time. When I was younger I would change in front of my mom, but when I got older, I think her self-consciousness rubbed off on me in the form of extreme modesty. I mastered the art of changing my clothes under a large shirt for gym. It weirded me out that people got completely naked after PE.

culturally for us, being naked is no big deal. koreans (in america and korea), go to steam baths/saunas together where you're buck naked.

Well right now LO and I shower/bathe together, it's easy and fun and he loves it. Probably by the time he's 1-2 years old, I'll stop, just cause he's a boy.

In my family we were taught that we have "private parts" and only mom, dad and the doctor can see those parts. We were mostly conservative, but I was very close to my brothers so we bathed together until it was considered inappropriate, I was probably 9 or 10 when we stopped?

I guess I'm pretty open with my mom/sister now, all of us have birthed in front of each other haha!

I have always been pretty comfortable getting changed with my friends, although I don't feel that way now. My body has drastically changed because of pregnancy, and I have stretch marks covering my entire stomach, thighs, hips and breasts. I am very self-conscious about it now and have even had a REALLY hard time letting my husband touch my stomach now. I've never had body/self-image issues before so this is all so foreign to me.

Our family was pretty open, too - I definitely saw both my parents naked several times. It just never seemed like a big deal to us.

We weren't a naked family. You changed in your bedroom, and didn't go into the bathroom whem someone was in there. I remember going camping with my aunts family when I was 11 and they didn't mind nakedness so much. It was a bit of culture shock.
