Wasn't bad! Figured out how to make baby boy comfy in his pnp. He slept 3-4 hour stretches, ate and went back down right away. Still tired though!

@Arden: that bad?
@chopsuey119: ooh any tips? We tried pnp, swing, our bed, nothing was working.

@Andrea: Yeah it kinda sucked. I didn't sleep at all. My blood pressure spiked and I had to call the midwife and then keep testing it, and I was freaked out so I couldn't sleep.
I have to go to the fire department in a couple hours and have them check it.
Plus we ran out of toilet paper (probably has something to do with me peeing every ten minutes). And I'm starving but we hardly have any food in the house. I ate peanut butter crackers all night.

@Andrea: he likes his head being elevated, so we put a pillow in the pnp and he slept at a 25-30 degree angle.
After he got his 4 ounces, burped, changed, patted for a few minutes, then down he went.
Ugh. Both kids are up now! I have boy duty, p has girl duty. Hahaha the boy is a lot easier..

@Arden: oh no.
I hope it gets back down to normal when you go to check.
@chopsuey119: yeah, I think she may need to be elevated but the swing did not work. I'll try the rock n play today.

Baby went down at 830, I went to sleep at 930. Up from 1130-1230, 3-4, and we are up again now. Not terrible for a 5 week old but I'm cranky about it for some reason today.

DS went down at 830, slept until 400, then I couldn't fall back asleep until around 6! Now he's up again...but I am putting hm back down when he is done.

@Arden: I'm with ya! Either baby boy has a tape worm or is experiencing a growth spurt. Though a lack of toilet paper would keep me up too. Hang in there!

I decided to switch sides on the bed to try it out before baby arrives (more room for the cosleeper on DH's side) and it was terrible. He left for a hospital rotation at 4:30 and I've been restless since then. I have a tickle on my throat and a stuffy nose. I hate to think I'm falling apart with less than 2 weeks until my due date.

After a long day of super short naps baby boy fought bed time worse than ever before! Finally down around eleven and slept four hours, then three, and fingers crossed will stay down a little longer right now. Zzzz!

Way better than the previous night when I was in and out of the bathroom with a 24-hour stomach bug!

LO had her first day at daycare and she must have been worn out from watching all the kids, she slept from 8 pm until we woke her up this morning at 7 am! Although I don't think she napped as good as she was used too.

Rotten. I've had a cold for the last week, which means I'm having trouble breathing at night... and now my hips are acting up so I couldn't get comfortable... lack of sleep is good practice for when LO is here, right?!

Last night was so much better than the past few b/c I didn't wake up gagging on mucus. Yum! I am finally kicking a cold and getting up multiple times to pee is nothing compared to all the hacking and coughing and crying I've been doing for the past week at night.

Long and short. DS went down pretty easy the first time but when he woke up DH wanted to spend some time cuddling with him since he'd not seen him awake yesterday (rather than me nurse him right back to sleep). But it took HOURS to get him back down, and he didn't sleep for more than an hour at a time once he went down. Mama is so tired today.

Meh. DD has been sleeping through the night most nights, but last night she woke up crying right when we were trying to go to sleep. We tried a little cry-it-out b/c we have really gotten lax at our sleep training, but in the end she cried for 20 minutes w/out showing any signs of stopping. I couldn't handle it, so DH went in to her room and rocked her back to sleep. But then she slept until 8 AM this morning, so not too bad...

I slept great last night for the first time in weeks. Only had to get up twice to use the bathroom too.

I slept better last night than the night before. At 36 weeks I am def feeling ready to have this baby. I havent had full on "Nesting" kick in...but I think its about to. I think I could have stayed up all night doing different things in the nursery.

Started night one of sleep training now that DD is over her cold. She woke at 1, cried for 10 min and slept the test of the night. It took me 2 hours to fall back asleep and then had to get up at 6.
