@Arden: Same here. Both DH and I would think that I was carrying the new baby Jesus if I was pregnant right now. How?
I would freak out because I'm not ready for #2 yet. But I'd also be happy.

@skipper2010: and @lawbee11: It was actually daycare that made us ready... We finally got in, and having 2 in daycare will actually cost LESS than we currently pay our nanny for one. (Ouch)

I'm with Danizaur - I'd wonder how I'd missed all the signs and was almost 30 weeks already (not unheard of, though)

At 8 days postpartum, I don't think my reaction would be fit to post on a public forum. It would not be pretty.

Um... I am, so it wouldn't be too much of a shock. Ask me again in 6 months and I'll freak the F out (we're done!)
@septca: Good luck!!

@septca: Good luck!
I would be really really really happy but REALLY scared at the same time. My problem doesn't seem to be getting pregnant, its keeping a sticky baby and no one seems to know why we have lost the last two.

I'd poop my pants, then I'd clean up. I'd puke. Then I'd tell DH and watch his ppm poop his pants. Help him clean up, then after the shock wore off we would be cautiously excited.

I would be confused since my medication is preventing me from ovulating!

@MamaMoose: Having 2 in daycare right now would run us over $3k a month . . . and that won't change for several years, so if I want a second before 40, I just have to bite that bullet. *augh*

Too soon. TOO SOON!
(omg kind of exciting)
NO TOO SOON TOO SOOOOOON!

I would be soooo excited and thrilled! I would probably cry out of happiness. Then I would start worrying about whether my morning sickness would be just as bad this time around when I have another baby to take care of already.

@MamaMoose: Yay, we are biting the bullet on daycare too.. Age is not on my side.

I would be overjoyed, over the moon happy! We're just not ready financially yet, We will actively try next summer though for #2.

@MsLipGloss: If we had a second right now not only would I have double the day care costs but we would definitely have to move, therefore upping the mortgage as well. We can afford it, but I'm not sure I want to just yet!
GOLD / pineapple / 12662 posts
@MamaMoose: And thus begins the mental chess game of when/if to have second babeh. It's exhausting to try to play out each move and anticipate the outcome . . . *augh*

I would panic! Then get excited. Then panic! Repeat for 9 months, haha.
We want two, but I want more one on one time with C before we TTC.
nectarine / 2834 posts
I actually don't know how I'd feel. DD is almost 14 months. I would probably be happy that we didn't have "try" for LO #2, but then would freak out for a few minutes, and then get excited. It's certainly within the realm of possibility.

@Danizaur: lol, yeah...I think I would be amazingly clueless not to realize what was going on sooner, lol. but, since I'm already 23 weeks along, it would sure make waiting a lot better!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@MsLipGloss: you should totally NTNP and see what fate determines...
pomegranate / 3003 posts
If logistics weren't an issue, I'd be excited. But we're not in a place for two, yet, so I'd probably collapse and sob.

@MsLipGloss: The hive has already decided for DH and you, #2 needs to happen. You make too cute of babies to not have another.
nectarine / 2527 posts
@Danizaur: lol we think alike cause that's what poped in my head too. How did 31 weeks go by and I didn't know lol
nectarine / 2192 posts
Relieved. We are in our 8th cycle of TTC and everytime AF comes, I am convinced that we are infertile and it will never happen.

@winniebee: I would be scared! Ob told me I can't get pregnant for 8 more months!

@littlek: @grizz: @Smurfette: Don't worry friends. When I see @MsLipGloss: this weekend I'm going to throw her birth control pills in the toilet. And poke holes in any and all condoms I can find. The hive conspiracy to make BabyGlossDos will happen!!
grapefruit / 4663 posts
I'd be happy but also scared!
@MapleMoose: me too! I always said I wanted them lol. My DH is insistent on being 1 and done right now though.
pomelo / 5326 posts
I'm only 4 months PP so I'd freak out just a little
But would quickly become happy. LO is easy so I think I could handle two. My problem is I wouldn't be able to work enough hours to collect Employment Insurance between the babies so it would be tough financially.

@Alivoo01: @jetsa: Are you girls going to try for Irish Twins? Well, I suppose that's hard for you jetsa if you're husband is not keen. We are NTNP, if it happens it happens.

@Dandelion: @Honeygold89: Gee I sure am gaining a lot of weight all in my belly. Something's moving around in there too...oh well. Must be the flu.

I would be surprised, fairly happy, pretty stressed, and then go and make an appointment with my therapist right away, haha.
