@Alivoo01: @maplemoose: we are currently NTNP too but I'm breastfeeding so the likelyhood is low. I think DH knows he's going to lose the argument anyway or he just likes messing with me about it

Well that explains why it's getting harder to see my feet (26 weeks)!

i would freak and worry a bunch, but ultimately be excited. not ready for a while longer for #2.

I would be very, very worried and upset .... DH is on a medication that causes birth defects (he has to be off it for 6 months before we can TTC). I don't even want to think about the decision we would be faced with.
Even in normal circumstances I would freak right out though!!!

@MamaMoose: Yikes! Does she go to a really nice one? I could find one that costs more than our mortgage for one but it would be a Montessori school or something fancy.

I would freak out and then take 10 pregnancy tests to confirm. We're one and done

I'd probably crap my pants a little about the prospect of giving birth two Augusts in a row... but it wouldn't be like, the worst thing ever.
I'd also be wondering who the hell that happened since DH and I aren't currently ummmm... engaging in the necessary precursors to pregnancy.

@PurplePeony: LOL. Very fair.
@Leialou: in a month, though, I hope this is what you find out!!!
@septca: any news???!!!
I wondered this morning if secretly there was another one in there (there's not). But if there were another one, I'd be thrilled! Unlikely though, at 23 weeks

Um I'd probably freak the heck out since I have a 14 month old and a 3 week old. HA!
grapefruit / 4311 posts
I would be thrilled because it would mean I hadn't known for 5 weeks already and would have avoided nearly half of the first tri stress and worry of "is this a sticky baby?" that I've been dealing with

@lawbee11: partly she goes to a nice day care and partly we put a lot of money down on our house so our payment would be low.

Not ideal. Were planning on ttc spring 2014 but were also np so it wouldn't be a shock either!

I would be happy, DH would be less so. Finances are kinda tight right now but I think we would make it work.

@winniebee: we have! And she's just as pretty and cool as you would expect!

@littlek: @grizz: @smurfette: @MamaMoose: I wish it were that easy (, i.e., just ntnp)!
@MamaMoose: and haha! flattery will get you everywhere

I'd be happy. We aren't ttc until M is at least 1, but I always thought an oops baby would be awesome for my anxious personality!!!!
bananas / 9229 posts
Right this second? Literally? Well, I'd be confused how I could be pregnant with AF fully in town. Hypothetically otherwise? Beyond thrilled!

I'd freak out a little and then be happy. We are feeling ready for #2, but I go back and forth about if this is the right time or not.

I would be pretty upset. The thought of being pregnant right now totally horrifies me. I'm just starting to feel like my body is back to normal. Plus I really want my kids to be about 3 years apart and LO is only 4 months old.
pomelo / 5257 posts
80 percent freaked out, 20 percent excited. Pretty sure my H would reverse those percentages, though, haha. He would be super excited! My only hang-ups are a) MONEY and b) I don't feel very settled or secure in my career right now, which makes me feel sort of unsettled in general.
persimmon / 1447 posts
I would be a little upset. I have finally made the commitment to getting healthy and losing the 30 lbs still hanging around from pregnancy. If it weren't for that, I'd be pretty happy though.

Sobbing tears of horror before I ran to the mirena factory to burn it down!
I have a 10month old and want at least a 2+ gap of not being pregnant!
cantaloupe / 6800 posts
Oh I would freak. 8 weeks PP DH would freak, he's ready ready for another haha
GOLD / squash / 13464 posts
@littlek: me too!!!!! You know I've only ever been to DC once and it was a quick trip so I didn't get to see much. Next time I make it up there will you be my official tour guide??
apricot / 344 posts
I would be so excited. Also concerned because I have an IUD lol. We likely won't be having more babies for 2-3+ years though. I've been ready for more since DD was born
