Not bad. Soaking up the last few days of summer! Going out of town for work tomorrow so MIL is here. She's making cookies right now (which is so nice), but DD is trying to sleep and she seems oblivious. We're in the basement now where it's quiet

Low: A scary episode on Tuesday where I started to feel very lethargic and fuzzy, which led to a trip to the midwife to make sure my blood pressure was stable and to check on baby girl.

High: my husband came home after being away for two weeks and will not be traveling much until after the baby is born.

You could say it's been a doozy.

It has been a rough week. We are in the grip of the 4 month regression and the lack of sleep is catching up with me and making me moody & tearful. Plus, I'm keeping E off nursery this week so I'm run ragged. I need a break so much!

So-so week. I came back from an overnight business trip to LO being congested and DH refusing to use the nasal aspirator. WTH For the last three nights I have had to hold LO alot just so he can rest. I will be happy when I can take a nap.

@csross217: ugh I'm so sorry to hear this. I feel like I'm constantly on the edge of losing it to anxiety, and we're right behind you with the unpredictable sleep patterns, so I feel you on the exhaustion. I hope you can get out of the house and meet with a friend or just mindlessly wander Target and get yourself a treat!

As for our week, I'm starting to feel better about my new unexpected identity as a SAHM. I've sent my resume around for part time work and am now just done with those efforts and becoming more at peace with whatever is going to happen this fall. We also came off a fantastic weekend with dear friends and I met an awesome fellow mom this week! So besides being so tired, we're doing okay at 3.5 months in with DS

Pretty good - the in-laws were here from England until Wednesday, so we did the zoo and the big parks, and they left Wednesday so ice had two days of low-key hanging out with the baby and getting back to normal.
