Sad, my sister - my best friend in the entire world - has been home visiting for the past 2 weeks since my LO was born. She heads back home across the country today and I am so teary.

@rachiecakes: haha, you've had an awesome morning! Nothing particularly bad has happened to me, but I'm just pregnant and salty as hell to be dealing with typical work bullshit this morning!

DH is out of town so I had to wake up LO early to get to preschool at 7 plus it was picture day. Somehow I did it and still got to work on time at 7:30, so not too bad...

DH took both kids downstairs so I could shower, which was awesome. I've got a mug of cinnamon-pumpkin coffee (okay, a vat). My toddler blew through the day's activities (playdoh, puzzles, coloring) in about ten minutes so I'm scrambling to find other things to do. But it's been a decent day so far.

DH took DD to school, I worked out, showered, put my face on and I'm about to load dishes into the dishwasher

I was up and down all night with a fussy toddler, found out a friend is dealing with something and I'm worried about her, and now I'm rocking my toddler because she won't nap (she's got a cold and a low-grade fever). I've been looking forward to this day for weeks because we have our anatomy scan at 1, but instead of being excited I am tired and worried.

Good. T is still asleep and I slept in till 7:45. My feet are sore from everything we did this weekend.

Slow because I'm tired! I left the house 30 minutes later than normal, but thankfully work is flexible. But DS woke up and stayed awake this morning and was in a fantastic mood (despite his refusal to wear the shirt I pulled out for him because he wanted an airplane shirt).

It has been like a three ring circus here this morning. E is a pistol of misery and has been since last Monday. N just wants to cuddle with momma and E doesn't like anyone touching momma period. Both boys are apparently swearing off sleep and I am back to solo parenting until the weekend.

Great so far. I woke up and nursed the baby and went on a 4 mile walk with my walking group. Got home before everyone woke up and we are headed to the park soon. I maternity leave!

Pretty rough. My 2 month old slept horribly last night and we were awake pretty much since 5 trying to get her down again. DH actually took a personal day from work bc he said he got such bad sleep so I'm trying to be quiet while taking care of her so he can rest.

Pretty well, all things considered. We were away for the weekend (I gave my BFF away at her wedding on Saturday!), and didn't get home until after 10, so we were all pretty sluggish this morning, but other than being tired it's gone pretty well. Beautiful day, and that always helps

DD2 barfed all over herself and my car on the way to taking DD1 to school...so not so great so far

Okay. Working from home all week (except for Wednesday) to pack for our move on Friday. We're just waiting for our clear to close on our condo. There's about a million other things that have to happen before being able to close and move into our new home. Fun week ahead here.

@Ms.Badger: omg me too! I bought everything but the breast shields which are kind of important! Luckily there is a target a mile from my work but I spent $20 on extra parts (and consolation candy!) because there was no way to make it home and back in time! So sorry you were in the same boat!
