I came home from the dentist just now and found that my husband had cut my son's hair. The bangs are way short! I'm going to cry. Husband thinks it's funny. I just trimmed it a few days ago, I don't know why he needed to give him another cut.

My LO's got peach fuzz, but I plan on cutting her hair when she gets older.

@chopsuey119: he said that's how his mom used to cut his hair. Our daughter is still only 5 months. But he is so not allowed to touch her hair when she's ready!

Wow. My niece cut her own hair when she was 4. Now she's 6 and her bangs never grew back normal. I'll leave the hair cutting to a professional.

my mom cut charlie's hair 2 months ago. the bangs were way too short and it finally grew out this week!

I would probably cry too! I take him somewhere to get his hair cut, and last time she didn't do a very good job around his ears.... it grew back pretty fast though!

I've cut my LO's hair twice using a texturing scissor cause I didn't want any blunt lines. I only evened up the shag the first time around so you barely noticed that she even got it cut. The second time around, she fidgeted and I cut a little too much on the left side of her bangs so I had to cut the right to match, lol. It was a bit shorter than I wanted but it wasn't too bad.

I still cringe looking at it but it it could be worse I suppose. I just keep sweeping it to the side so the blunt ends don't show. LO has my hair so it grows pretty slow. I guess I'll have to endure it for a few months.

this reminds me of this family i know.. the Dad buzzed their 4 month olds hair while Mom was taking a nap...this little boy had the most gorgeous thick hair too!

My mom cut my LO's bangs once and they were SUPER short and crooked. Everyone said he had the "dumb and dumber" hair cut. I almost cried.

I won't touch my son's for fear of messing it up, but my DH does and he always does a great job thankfully. When we do it I hold and he cuts. Actually, we just have him another trim 2 days ago.
