As uttered by my husband when discussing how to potty-train even though we are nowhere near there yet.

Haha that's priceless.
DH often has lengthy chats with baby (still in utero), and completely ignores me when I try to answer his questions. He'll look at me as though I'm interrupting, and be like "Excuse me, my daughter and I are having a discussion."

I was telling him how I was worried about who would watch DS when I go into labor with lo2. He said--totally seriously--he's just coming with us to the hospital!
Uhhhh I really don't think an l&d would be good for a 15 month old!

It's called "eavesdropping". So rude. Can't a dad and his unborn son get any privacy around here?

@matador84: Olive came five weeks early before we had time to make a plan, so Charlie came to the hospital with us!! He was a bit traumatized by seeing his mom in labor so I had to take him out of the room until a friend showed up to take him home...

@mrbee: I am so afraid we'll have o do something similar!!! My water broke with ds at 11 at night and I had him at 2am, I have to get a contingency plan in place early!!
