I used them a few times, and noticed a difference after giving them to him. My daycare requested them also.

Yes here. Maybe it's a placebo effect, but we love those suckers around here.

I agree possibly placebo but they seemed to do something. LO used to get really excited to see the container!

The effect is short-lived but remarkable for us. I give him two when he's really upset by his teeth.

No difference for us, found out shortly after that our pediatrician is emphatically against them due to past safety issues, so we threw them away.

Yes works for us! He immediately calms down after I give him some.

They did not work for my first child, but it's working for my second child.

Yes for us. My LO always seems to calm down and he always is excited to get them. I was wondering why he was so excited and tried it thinking maybe it was semi sweet but it just tastes like chalk.

They work for our lo. When he was 4 months old, he was teething something fierce and wouldn't stop screaming. My friend popped a couple in his mouth and he calmed down and fell asleep. We were sold

They worked for us, especially when he was having trouble going down for a nap due to teething.

Loved them!! We always used 4 at a time even though I think it says 2-3 at a time.

@lemondrop: did your ped explain why? My ped said the same thing and cited the belladonna. We were there got a different reason so I didn't get into it too much but now I am wondering why they are so against the tablets.
I see on google how they were recalled a few years ago but I didn't find anything recent.
Just wondering f other had a similar recommendation from their ped on this!

@Aimed: My uncle is a ped, and our own local ped both cited the belladonna too and they both were involved with children that reacted very badly to it during the recall time.
I can't imagine they they would keep the tablets on the market if the problem hasn't been fixed, but after researching regulations on holistic meds/herbs on the market and since I have worked with belladonna derivatives in lab animal medicine, we decided it wasn't worth the risk.
We use the amber teething necklace/anklet, and once old enough- have only ever needed an NSAID 3 times during teething (canines twice, molars once). I have no regrets with the route we have taken, and plan to do the same with our next son

i didn't notice an iota of difference. i think my LO got distracted for a few seconds after eating them, in which we enjoyed some blissful silence, but then it was back to business as usual.

@lemondrop: thanks for the info!! Sometime 'natural' things worry me more as there is little or no regulations.

I was going to ask this today, too! I think I am going to pick some up tonight. I have heard good things.

They are magic....when they're actually having teething problems. What can I say? I've been guessing teething pain since they were three months, and still nary a tooth between them. BUT, the last few weeks, we've had some days where their gums were really swollen & red, massive drooling, restless at night, etc. We gave them the tablets and it was magic. Also, our daycare teacher asked us to bring them up there because she loves them.
