LO has acted like he is teething for a little bit now (chewing, drooling etc.) and this week had a short nursing strike (Wed.) Today I saw a white dot on his lower gums right where his right lower incisor would break through. It is a little bit sharp/hard, but only the size of the head of a pin. He won't let me in his mouth to investigate much so I can't tell what is going on...
I read that they can get calcium deposits but I don't know what these look like and can't find pictures of any online. I thought if it was a tooth, it would be a line, rather than a dot but I am not sure.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
