guys, why do my pinterest projects always suck?!

these crafty moms make this crap look so easy, but everything i try ends up looking like a second grader did it. this afternoon i attempted a diy chalkboard for my weekly bump pictures a la the other thousand pinterest moms-to-be, but of course... no dice. it's streaky and ridiculous looking. this was supposed to be one easy of the easy ones. who can't even spray paint a piece of wood correctly?! i am a failure.
