Bee and I took the kids to the ballpark today, and carried the kids for much of the day. That combined with lots of activities yesterday and my whole body is incredibly sore!!
I'm running a super hot bath now... any other advice?

One of my ex-boyfriends would take ice baths after super long runs. Supposedly it's supposed to help with soreness. It sounds miserable to me.

Ice always helps me when I'm sore. I alternate heat and then ice. Stretching also helps me.

Bananas? As in, eat them? When I was a dancer we ate bananas for sore muscles (for the potassium). May have been an old wives' tale.

Ice will definitely help the most, but an ice bath takes commitment! I'd pick the sorest parts and ice them, 20 min on, 20 off.

Stretch. Remind yourself that tomorrow might be worse, but it will get better, and it's always worse if you don't move around. And pat yourself on the back for doing enough physically to make yourself sore!

DH swears by stretching. But when I'm sore I beg him for a massage, add some pain reliever and a bed and you are good to go! I also hear drinking lots of water helps.

Take an epsom salt bath, stretch, and ice. Take an advil or any other NSAID before you go to sleep as well.
A lot of people use heat pads when they really should be icing to reduce inflammation.
