My kids have started a super frustrating phase (yes, both of them) where they claim they can't walk. They do it at super inconvenient times, like when my hands are full and we are walking across a parking lot. My youngest has been doing it more than my oldest, and lately I've been having to carry her down the halls at my older LO's school, carrying all of my other LO's stuff, and carrying her all the way back out to the car. Of course I could just say I'm not carrying her, but avoiding a screaming meltdown in front of people, or in the middle of a cold/snowy/busy parking lot sounds better to me.

Has anyone gone through this stage? Any tips?
