because I am probably way too excited for the Sims 4 to get released on the 2nd. Less than 2 weeks! Until then, finally getting to play GTA V because we finally got our xbox hooked up!

I have not played the Sims in foreverrrrr... Now that I'm done school and married, I feel like I need a new hobby to see me through to baby-making time. Perhaps I should become a born-again Sims addict!

I used to play a ton more video games back in the day, but I feel they are so complicated now and the controllers have so many buttons! I get all flustered! lol, I sound so old!
That being said, DH and I like to play together some games. Right now we are playing Murdered. I don't know what "kind" of game that is called specifically, but I like to play those ones with him

I used to play video games until I got involved with different hobbies. Sometimes I wish I still played, it was a great way to bond with my husband.

@loveisstrange: I totally loved playing Sims 3 on my phone and tablet until I was able to hack the unlimited simoleons and gems and it got boring after a week or so (nothing to really work for). I really like GTA but I only drive around to hit people. Games where people are chasing/shooting me give me anxiety!

@dreamocracy: I LOVE all things Zelda, and I am so bummed that I will miss out on this. My husband doesn't have time to play any more, and we couldn't justify buying a Wii U for just the couple games I wanted to play.

How did I miss this thread? I haven't been playing anything lately because I've been so busy with other things, but I LOVE me some skyrim & boarderlands2 & I have played most of the lego games to completion. I am missing the Hobbit & LEGO. wah.
I'm so sad that I don't even have an obsession right now because I barely have time to think these days. womp womp.

@Mrs. Train: From what I know of WoW, it's probably a good thing you haven't played in a while or else your kids would be feral little scavengers searching the house all "mummy, mummy, where are you?" hahaha JK. but i've heard it's crazy addicting and that reason enough for me not to get it because I get sucked into games HARD.

@.twist.: yes it's the pre-sequel! They are going to be on other planets and there will be less gravity and you can play as clap trap!
I hope they have Gauge as a playable character in the new one. She was awesome to play as.
Eta: just looked up the playable characters and she's not one of them. But it looks like they'll have 2 new girls, a guy, and clap trap to play as, plus characters from the previous games will be there too, but I don't know in what capacity.
Also, does anyone watch Heroes of Cosplay? I'm so amazed at their talent!

@loveisstrange: Oh... They are so different. I love the second one so much. I think I enjoyed the actual game play/story/time more than the 3rd. But I still LOVE the 3rd one and I pretty much love steampunk in its entirety.

I don't watch heroes of cosplay because I am too envious of their talent.

@.twist.: it is very addicting!! But it is so much fun. Before I had kids my husband and I would get in big groups and do raids with the microphone headphones and everything.
