Bee and I were watching Stranger Things over the weekend, and she asked me what game the kids were playing in the first episode. I told her it was Dungeons and Dragons, and she asked me if it was a board game. That's when I realized that maybe only nerds like me grew up with stuff like this!

It depends how you define it. I don't think being a fan of sci fi is nerdy. I don't think DH building his own computers makes him nerdy. So neither of us I guess.

By that definition, DH is because he used to play so I knew what the kids were playing or else I would've had no idea!

DH. He loves Star Wars, Star Trek, LOTR, played all the sega and Nintendo games growing up... AND he majored in math, plays math games for fun, writes math problems in his free time, etc. it's so funny

Depends on the type of nerd. Nerdy things about DH-took forever to get rid of his flip phone, socially awkward and needs regular fashion consultations

Him, hands down. I like Star Trek and Doctor Who (but so does he) but he plays Magic online pretty much every night, and other games like The Battle for Middle-Earth (a LOTR game). He played Magic the night before our wedding, lol!

Him for sure. He plays Minecraft and League of Legends most days. I've been a video game widow over the years when new ones come out. He's into Star Trek and other shows involving magic. I knew most of the Stranger Things references when we watched it as our date night show. We haven't picked a new show yet, but Jessica Jones or Luck Cage are ones that we're thinking of watching together.
