I was a master of PowerPoint a version or two ago... now I can't figure out where any of the features are. Why would you do this to me, Microsoft!! It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to align objects and distribute them horizontally...
Anyone have to use the new PowerPoint? Is it easy to figure out eventually?

@babycanuck: But I had hundreds (thousands?) of hours of experience with it... why would Microsoft change it so much and throw all that away?

I can tell you - they took away some really good features in Word, too, and I have no idea why.

Which version are you using? Did they just come out with a new version?
Luckily I very rarely use powerpoint anyway lol!

@babycanuck: Yeah Word is so weird now! It took a lot for me to re-learn it when it changed but overall I can see how it's better now.

I really liked the updates made in Office 2007. Not such a fan of the new flat UI for Office 2013 and Windows 8.
