I was watching the news this morning and in Honor of the 50th Anniversary of Dr. King's speech they were asking people to tweet what their dream is. I thought that it would be fun to do here.
I have a dream, that one day there will be a cure for cancer.

The whole speech is going to be aired tonight on MSNBC . Apparently Rachel Maddow tells me (ok, not me specifically..) that I've never seen the whole speech in its entirety before, so I'm definitely going to watch with Lala. M will b asleep by that time.
I have a dream that one day we I'll know true quality for people of different races and ethnicities, different religions, men and women, gay and straight. Until then, we'll keep on fighting for Dr. King's dream.,

@Mrs. Jacks: The local radio station that I listen to every morning, plays the whole speech every single year. The main guy was saying his homework for the night is playing and listening to it with his 10 year.

I have a dream that one day everyone is lifted out of poverty, there is compassionate and dignified help for our most vulnerable (physically or mentally challenged and mentally ill people) and everyone believes in their heart discrimination of any kind is unjust.

I have a dream that one day the hate will stop. People will no longer attack, verbally or physically, or kill others for their race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or personal beliefs. That we can live in harmony and respect and value each other BECAUSE of our differences, instead of in spite of them.

I have a dream that we will find safe and long term energy solution. Companies that make big bucks out of oil will stop putting profit before the planet and future generations, they will no longer buy and shelve great scientific breakthroughs and will instead work towards building a sustainable future for our children's children.
