My stomach pain got so bad I went to the ER and they found gall stones. One of them is blocking my pancreas. I'm having a procedure in a bit to have the gall stone removed but I have to have my gall bladder out at a later date.
Lots of pain.

Omg! I'm so sorry! That's awful. Especially to go through all that right after you had a baby! Sending lots of good thoughts your way and hoping you are out of pain VERY soon.

Oy!! Hope that the removal alleviates your current awful feeling!! I have heard that the gall bladder removal is pretty manageable as far as major surgeries go (my mom and grandfather both had theirs out). Hope all goes smoothly!!

Still waiting...living on morphine and pumping and dumping. M has been a good sport taking formula from the maternity center (I'm in the same hospital i had him in) and I have lots of family supporting me here. I'm so ready for the procedure though so that I can be on the other side of this!

So now they're saying that my labs looks like my body is passing the stone on it's own. In rhe meantime I need to not eat or drink anything and they're still giving me round the clock pain meds and antibiotics.
I'm so parched!

Update: my stones passed on their own. I still have to come back soon and have my gall bladder our but now they're gonna let me start drinking water. I'm gonna be off morphone now so I can start nursing again soon.
Scary to have to face gall bladder surgery but glad this part is clearing itself up.

@Dandelion: passing stones on their own sounds very painful. Don't be too intimidated by the surgery, though-my recovery was pretty easy, and the relief came very quickly. You will feel so much better when it's done!! Still, I'm sorry that you have to do it so quickly after your section. I hope you can get some rest!

I'm still in the hospital. My pancreatitis is still going and they don't wany me to leave with it still an issue. My pain is lower but still there. M and DS are staying with my parents since I have to pump and dump for my medicines. I miss them but I need to focus on getting better.
I'm here at least til tomorrow. But it's a one day at a time thing.
