I can't stop buying carriers/wraps/etc for DS2 (who's not even here yet)!!!
I can only imagine the giant head shake that my DH is going to give me when he sees that I bought another wrap today.
Why are CD's and carriers so addictive?!? Anyone else?? For me, I think it's because I can "justify" the cost. It's for my kids, right?!? ......RIGHT?!? I have a hard time justifying buying anything for myself, so I guess this is my way around it lol.

Um, sorry, but you can't admit to this sort of problem without showing pics of the pretty!
I want another wrap or Tula so badly but can't justify the cost with how much I wear right now. Maybe now that the weather is nice DH and I will start wearing our LOs more and I can justify it!

I just bought my first wrapsody breeze this morning, since DS2 is due in the summer and it's supposed to be very lightweight. I LOVE wraps that aren't your standard rainbows or stripes (though I like those too), and DS2 has an unofficial nautical/piratey thing going on in his nursery, so I thought this was perfect!

I think it's because they're all so pretty! I'm always tempted to buy a new type. So I have a Tula and a maya ring sling but now I want a wrap. Even though wraps scare me for tying and I almost always default to my Tula.

@Peasinapod: don't let wraps scare you. I can literally only do 2 types of wrapping, but they worked for me and DS1, so it didn't matter. Once you get good at doing it, it becomes pretty natural and quick. And they're SO comfy!

I have kept my carrier buying in check, but I really want to try a ring sling for baby #2. We used the moby all the time when C was tiny but I think a ring sling could be a quicker in and out when I'm also chasing a toddler. I also really wanted to get a Tula this winter but I guess I'm glad I waited and didn't

@avivoca: My DH always defaults to the ergo, and maybe our Tula now that I got one. He would never be able to wrap though!

@ValentineMommy: i totally got intimidated of wraps when i rented one. i tried putting LO 1 in it, and maybe it was because he was too old by then (about a year old) and i was fumbling around, but he didn't like it. sigh. hence the obsession with ring slings instead.

I'm always stalking carriers and wraps on websites because I'm always convinced I need just the right one. A wrap for infancy - but which one? Boba, Moby? A light weight one for the summer? And for babyhood - the tried and true Ergo? But there are so many new and great ones too, the Beco, the Tula, the Kinderpack, the Mei Tai, and which one will be just right for my back? Sigh... I want to buy one of each and just have it. I understand your addiction. There are so many cute patterns and fabrics too nowadays.

I bought a Solly Baby in the Black Friday sales before we were even ttc #2. I really want a Tula ring sling but I don't know if I need one with the Solly. We already have a Spotted Love Tula.

@Foodnerd81: I feel like ring slings are awesome for newborns! My baby wants to be held all the time and I just throw it on and cuddle him up! I want more in different colors now! And I definitely wish I had it earlier. I bought it when he was 2 mo or a little younger.

I currently have two wraps, a Beco Gemini, toddler Tula, ergo ($20 garage sale find!), and Beco Butterfly (garage sale find at $20!), and I want more! I hear ya on how hard it is to stop! When/If I get pregnant again, I want a ring sling.
