I don't know how to ask this but it has been on my mind for a while:

Let's say we all have two kids. A 5 year old Boy and 10 year old girl.

If your son asks you to let him wear girl clothing and use the girl's bathroom and basically identify himself as a little girl, would you let him? At 5 does he really understand what it is he is asking?

Now, before you say yes; if your daughter asked you for birth control to start having sex, would you give it to her? Is she old enough to know what it is she's getting herself in to?

Where do you draw the line?

I just feel like we get so lost in being supportive of our children that we forget that they are just children and maybe a 5 year old does want to be a transgender, but why not let them wait it out until they are older? Why are we so eager to let our children make such grand decisions? I feel like our society wants to be so open and accepting but it looks like they just want everything to be gender neutral and have no identity. Should we all walk around with uniforms so that we can not distinguish men from women or where do you draw the line?
