I read it. I don't remember crying, but it's all vague. Plus it was RIGHT around when I got pregnant so who knows!!

Too depressing for me! I wouldn't be able to make it through, stories that have any sort of basis in real tragic events just upset me to the point that I can't make it through the movie.

Haven't seen the movie because I'm scared it would ruin the book for me - it's my all-time favourite. My husband and I both breezed through it in a day.

I thought it was a decent movie. I didn't see it as sad, so much as a boy getting to know his father better.
