I had posted about two weeks ago about the regression my LO has been experiencing with her sleep. Two weeks later we had two nights of more normalcy but we are still struggling and things have even gotten worse! Here is an example night for us (last night):
8:00- 9:30- quiet play, bath, jammies and read books
9:30-10:00pm- last feeding of the night
10:00- 11:00- DH and I rock her, bounce her, sush her, swaddle her, paci her, swing her. It takes at least three times of putting her down and five minutes later she is awake. Very frustrating!
11:30- Awake and rocked back to sleep
12:30- Awake and rocked back to sleep
1:00- Awake and rocked back to sleep
4:00- 4:40- Awake and hungry for a night feeding
5:15- Awake rocked back to sleep
5:45- Awake rocked back to sleep
6:15 -Awake rocked back to sleep and brought into bed with us
7:15 - 7:40- Awake and hungry for a feeding. Bring her back to bed with us
8:40- Awake for the day
PLEASE HELP! We have tried to put her to bed earlier with only starting the waking every hour cycle earlier in the evening instead of later. She takes decent naps but her naps have recently gotten shorter. For example, yesterday she took four naps over the course of the day for about 30 minutes to an hour a piece. She feeds (exclusively BF) every 2 to 3 hours during the day. She has been a little more gassy lately and I have cut out almost all dairy in my diet but not entirely sure this is the reason. I also have cut out all caffine. Also, the awake time in the middle of the night is fully awake. Eyes open, smiles but when rocked she will go back to sleep fairly quickly. HELP!!!
