So today I finished Week 3, Day 2 of the C25K and I've done about a week and a half of the 30 Day Shred (although not everyday). I'm also eating healthier in general, although I've slipped up a few times. I can feel myself getting fitter. For the most part, level 1 of the 30 Day Shred doesn't really phase me and while it's hard, running 3 minutes straight wasn't impossible when at the beginning, running for 60 seconds made me feel sick.
So I know I'm getting fitter and I feel like I look more toned, but I'm not losing weight. In fact, I gained a pound. I know I've been told many times that muscle weighs more so I'll probably gain a bit before start to steadily lose but it still kills my motivation. I found a body fat % monitor to hopefully help and I was going to start tracking my measurements later. It's just hard to stay motivated when the scale isn't going down at all and is sometimes going up!
