I was going to drop the baby off at daycare, and was getting on the interstate on-ramp. It's a badly designed ramp and generally too steep/banked. It snowed this morning and the roads were SUPER slick. I live in Montana and the city generally doesn't plow.

I spun out and did a 180. Luckily no one was coming behind me. I sat there shaking for a few minutes and then drove to daycare.

I got to work and was all shaken up. One of my coworkers was kind of a B about it. I had posted on facebook "PLOW THE D@MN ROADS." She was like, "Seriously? Give them a break. It's only 9am and it's just been snowing for two hours. They're working on the passes first."

Whatever. Ramps and intersections and thoroughfares should be salted BEFORE a storm. But that's just my east coast opinion.

Then they gave me crap about eating Twizzlers because I am breastfeeding.

I just want an Irish Coffee.
