So yesterday I stepped outside to let the dog in and my foot that I stepped with hit ice and shot out from under me. I ended up going down hard with one leg splayed out in front of me and the other one under me. When I got up my ankle hurt but in kind of an unusual place. It is just a little above my ankle on the inside. Immediately it hurt to walk on. Even today there is zero swelling or bruising but I still can't walk without a limp and have to turn my foot to the side, it hurts to flex it and hurts to touch in that area. Im fairly certain it isn't sprained because I have done that a million times and this feels nothing like it but I can't understand why it hurts so darn much. DH thinks it is no biggie and I should just put ice on it and move on with my day but I am starting to worry a bit. I would just go to the doc but because I was blessed to have this happen after the first of the year I am now in a new deductible year and will have to pay big to visit the doc:( what do you think bees? Am I being a baby or should I go in?
