I wish I had a better layout. We have three bedrooms, which is great, but none of the bedrooms are the same size, which I think is going to be problematic when (if) I have two children. I feel bad for whoever gets stuck with the small bedroom.

Ha most of the above! We're in a small, 2bdrm/1b apartment in a not great school district at the moment. Hopefully we'll be moving soonish.

A basement and a bigger patio!!!

I'm to say I only voted for two here:

I would love another bedroom (as a spare bed/office/junk room)
I would love more storage and closets.

I don't love our layout but for now it works. Its open which is great with little one and for entertaining. When our kids get older we want something different with a separate den/dining room.

@Adira: Oh, I will!! Right now we have a 10x10 slab.

I wish I had a fireplace! It's on my must have list for our next home.

A bigger kitchen! It's the only thing I'd change about this house.

Oh gosh everything! We like in 950 sq ft. Two bedrooms one tiny bathroom, hardly any storage. No garage. No yard. Though there is a nice park behind us.

A laundry room on the main floor or on the second floor. I hate having it in the basement. A different layout would be nice too.

We need another room. This is the largest apartment we've ever been in, but right now it's too small. It's a 2br/2ba, 1100 sq ft, with a small balcony. A garage would be so nice, but what we really need is another bedroom. Thank goodness we like each other!

More closets, AC and screens on my windows!

Well, I wish I owned a house rather than renting an apartment...but if I had to choose what to change about the current place, I voted for overall bigger, more storage, a larger room -- kitchen -- better neighborhood, better school district, and a fireplace.

My main complaint is the lack of storage space so a slightly larger house would fix that.

I wish we has just one more bedroom and a pool! We live in AZ and it is hot as Hades. We have a huge yard and it would be so nice if LO and I could hang by the pool. I keeping begging DH to get one and he keeps saying no. Wahh.
