Do you write your emails in lower case or upper case?
Does your answer change depending on who you are emailing... or whether or not you're using a smartphone with AutoCorrect?

Nope! I am always as grammatically correct as possible, especially given that I am an English teacher! Sometimes my keyboard bests me, but I hope no one notices

Usually everything is lowercase on boards and text messages. But I do use caps for emails

I still try to use proper capitalization. I'm a SQL programmer at work, so I use all caps quite a bit. It's nice to be able to use lowercase when I get on the boards

The only time I don't use proper capitalization is on my blog, oddly enough. Otherwise, I capitalize in emails, text messages...everything.

I try to use proper grammar at all times! But I rarely text and I don't have a smartphone or iPad, so all e-mails I send or posts I write are on a computer, so it's easy to write things out correctly, with proper capitalization and punctuation.

i hate uppercase letters unless i'm using them to put emphasis on something. so if you see caps used correctly, i'm on my phone =) i'm on a computer right now, hence the lack of them! and with emails, i would use correct grammar and punctuation only if it is a professional email, which is uber rare

I always use proper capitalization/grammar/punctuation in emails, whether on computer or phone, but I use a Blackberry that makes it really easy--don't own any Apple products.
I sometimes enjoy texting in broken English...makes me laugh. I'm weird.

I try to use proper punctuation/capitalization in emails and boards, but I'm very careless in text messages.

Sometimes I get lazy and use all lowercase but then it makes me twitchy and I have to go back through and change everything.

I try to use proper capitalization, but sometimes I skip it. If it is a professional email, I try my best to make sure everything is correct.

Oh no, I always use proper capitalization. And honestly, it drives me crazy when other people don't. I don't think it takes that much more effort, although I do understand if you're typing on a phone and in a hurry.

Hmmmm. Nope. Can't get behind lack of caps for anything but maybe a one- or two-word text. And even that is pushing it for me

I always use caps in proper places. To me, the lack of them gives me the impression that the user is a teenager who couldn't be bothered. I guess lots of people use their phones because I don't notice lack of caps around here.

I almost always HB on iPad pr iPhone, so I get really lazy. Formal emails like at work I use proper punctuation, but to friends informally, I get lazy.
