Each month, DD1's daycare wants us to do "homework" with our LO. For October, it was a treat bag, for November, it was a centerpiece, but for December, it's an ugly Christmas sweater. For each one, it has to be homemade (or semi-homemade), not just bought at the store.
I'm completely at a loss for how to make this. Any thoughts?

Get a sweatshirt, the tackiest pre-made bow you buy, and glue on the sweatshirt.

Get a sweater or sweatshirt and get a Christmas hand towel with an appropriately tacky stitched on decal. Cut out the decal and fabric glue or hand stitch it on the shirt.

What about those little metallic fuzzball/pom pom things? Maybe stitch a felt tree onto a sweater and then glue the little balls on like ornaments.

How old is DD?
Maybe buy a bunch of mini ornaments and let DD glue them on the sweatshirt herself!

Solid sweatshirt + felt + fabric glue! You can make a snowman, tree, Santa face, whatever. Add a little tinsel or puffy paint and it only gets tackier.

ETA: by stencil, i mean something printed for free off the internet to trace.

I was at Target this weekend and saw a kit for making your own ugly sweater, lol.

So based on the pic on the box, I'd just go to the dollar section and buy some random fuzz balls/ornaments, big tacky bows, tinsel, etc to hang/glue.
