I need some ideas for homemade gifts for kids! Trying to find something to make for our 4 year old niece.

Can you sew? If so I have seen cute little stuffed animals/dolls on pinterest! (I can't sew at all and can't think of any paper crafts that are cool for a 4 yr old)

Is she into girly things? Tutus are fairly easy to make I think. Or a cape, kids love those.

@tororojo: I can't sew either. I'm pretty handy with the hot glue gun though! I've found a few things but honestly I'm not sure what a 4 year old is into? DD is only 14 months.

Mrs. Makeup did a post a few days ago with some really cute homemade gift ideas from Pinterest. I LOVE the homemade snow globes, and I think I'm going to have DD help me make some for her grandparents next week.

What about something to bake, like a cookie-in-a-jar kind of thing?

I would do a sensory box/bin. Beans or peas or rice, some shovels or cups or stuff like that and a few things to bury in there. I think @mrsbee did a post on sensory play.
