Since I'll have vacation to use up this year and not stash for maternity leave, DH and I decided to head to St. Martin for a long weekend next month (aka Easter).
Has anyone been? Aside from flights, we've done nothing - no hotel, restaurant research, etc. So I have NO clue!!

I stayed on the Dutch side when we went ... It was so long ago though that I don't remember much! The beaches were gorgeous (just a heads up ,some are nude on the French side, that was a shock to get while traveling with my father haha)

GO TO MAHO BEACH!
It's the airport beach, where the planes land like, 10 feet above your head. It's an amazing sight to see and the water is actually pretty nice (it was when we went for our honeymoon in March '09). There's a bar on the beach with a list of times for the planes that land, and you can rent beach chairs and grab a bite and beverage.
We also went to Orient Bay beach.
