I'm suuuper late to the party this week - I was away all weekend for my BIL's wedding.

Share a random fact about yourself: Stealing from Leialou - my first plane ride was when I was 21, and it was to London!

Share a random fact about dh: He's 7 inches taller than anyone else in his family

Share a random fact about your marriage: we've been together for 11 years

Share a random fact about your parents: They've been together since they were 15/16

What are you doing this weekend? my BIL got married!

As always, update us on any new changes/developments!

So I had my follow up appointment with my RE today, and was shocked to learn that IUIs and FETs don't count toward my 6 ART cycles covered by insurance! With that knowledge, we've decided to do two more IUIs and then start IVF in January. I'm feeling so incredibly lucky to live in a state with such strong IF insurance mandates, and angry that it's not a federal regulation.

@littleredhairedgrl: ughhh waiting is the worst, I was going to POAS last month with my IUI, but I chickened out...lol

My RE went good my body is just a hot mess...lol never can do anything on its own....So I had no sign of AF coming from blood work so I got prescribed Provera to bring it on, and then this morning I had spotting that seems to be AF So we shall see.....

@Shutterbug: I also agree with it being a regulation......
Did you know that Viagra is covered by most insurances because men can get depression if their "equipment does not work....
UMM HELLO!!!! You don think women get depressed??????

@FaithFertility: that's insane!! There is a study that says the stress of infertility treatment is as severe as the stress of cancer treatment.

@Shutterbug: Ohh I completely agree!!! Me and my Mom who has no trouble getting pregnant were talking this weekend and I was explaining all my thoughts, fears and such and she knows everything, and when she heard all of it she was in tears...
She said she could never imagine!!!!

In the sense of IF I am lucky that I have a very small issue as opposed to many, but all the same it is no easy road!

I also saw a study that said either your marriage grows stronger or not during IF treatment....
It said it take the 3 biggest things married couples fight about
    1.Money
    2.Sex
    3.Family
and wraps them in a pretty 3 for 1 package!!!!!!

@FaithFertility: all my sisters have had zero trouble getting pregnant, but my mom tried for five years. She is really the only person in real life I feel I can talk to about this.

@Mrs.Someone: how are you feeling today? I saw your posting on the older thread about being frustrated with your symptoms. Are things any clearer today?

@Happygal: I just rolled out of bed, but so far things are pretty much the same. I don't feel nauseous yet, but its only 6am... Out of frustration, I have temped the last 2 mornings and my temp is slightly higher than its ever been, especially at 13dpo. Once DH leaves, I'll POAS (I try and hide my crazy )

@Happygal: As expected, still BFN! And my morning headache/off-ness started not long after I posted this earlier.

@littleredhairedgrl: Thanks I have no idea what to think at this point though. FX for you too! Not spotting is a great sign.

@Mrs.Someone: I'm sorry. How frustrating and disappointing. How long is your typical luteal phase?

@Happygal: I'm actually doing OK today, I didn't really expect to get pregnant again this quickly after my last m/c. My LP is usually 14 days (AF starts on 15dpo). However, any time I have temped in the past, it has started dropping by now. I'll check again tomorrow, seems like that is more reliable than an HPT at the moment

    How are you doing lately?

@Mrs.Someone: I'm doing just fine. I'm still working on figuring out my blood sugar issues and that is worrisome to me. I hope to get answers soon.

So I'm cross posting this from the IVF thread. I think we might hold off on job hunting and starting to TTC again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now with IVF as an option...

So I think I'm now an IVF convert because of @twodoghouse: 's ultrasound and all the IVF success stories I've been hearing!. DH has been telling me that he really wants bio LOs whenever I bring up adoption. I think he wants to try everything before adoption. Also, our finances have changed... Like drastically. (No, I didnt win the lottery but I do feel like some things have changed.) This time last year, IVF was off the table because I thought it was going to be so much more expensive. And I was worried about the risk of failure. But with IVF refund plans, it might not be that much compared to international infant adoption.
Also, some of you know that we've been on a TTC break because I am job hunting. Well, I've applied to about 15 jobs and haven't been called back... At all. I think I need to reorganize my résumé. Also, it's getting towards the end of the year and which means it might be better to stick it out a couple months so I can get my work bonus. It will pay for 1/3 or less than 1/2 of IVF.
Anyway, this all means that we might be back on the TTC train! With now IVF as an option!
I'm on cycle day 6 today and so if I call my RE to restart TTC, we might be able to get a plan started. (Too late to do any procedures this month but it will give us time to think it over emptionally, logistically and financially.) Maybe redo my HSG since its been over a year. Maybe do one last IUI before IVF. (Well, this is of course after meeting with the financial coordinator to see what options they have and if we can afford it.
    Ahh, it's so exciting.
