Happy new year! Looking forward to 2015!!
Updates: None really. My suppression check is on 1/5. Then I take out my nuvaring on 1/7. On 1/10, I'll start my first delestrogen shot. Getting pumped about this month's transfer. Let's do this!!!

@bluestriped bee: I'm so excited that we are both transferring this month!
I started estrace yesterday. My next monitoring appointment is 1/12. I'm waiting until then to book a hotel room. I don't want to jinx anything.

So excited for the new year and all if our IF girls getting BFPs this year. As for us (now that I'm officially out as an IF girl), baby brother is scheduled to be born Feb 13th. It's coming quick!
Oh and my due date was Jan 15th, so that's going to be really tough.

@Leialou: I'm looking for something to do to fill the void, so I'm taking a girls trip to California for a few days. I haven't taken a girls' trip since before I was married! I'll miss the girls terribly, but I need this.
I had ff miles and girls are driving me around and I'm staying at a friend's house, so it will be free!

Happy New Year to all! I do hope that 2015 is the year for us!
Updates: CD 3 here, HSG scheduled for Monday, January 12th with a hopeful discussion with RE after the procedure to discuss what we need to do to move forward with IVF. This IVF journey is new to me and I'm just starting to read up on this, so I'm not sure what my timeline is like. I'm anxiously awaiting January 12th.

Hugs and BFP wishes to all of us this year! ️
@bluestriped bee: @Leialou: eek! My fingers are crossed for you!
@Mrs. Jacks: how fun! Where are you going in Cali?
@Mrs. Jacks: @Leialou: due dates are rough.
@PurplePumps: what type of cycle are you doing?
@sarahnicole218: good luck!
No new updates for me- just saving money to pay for surgery so we can do out first IUI cycle. It may be a few months before we can make any progress, unfortunately. Patience is not my strong suit.

Big to everyone on these threads. I would not be where I am without the support of all of you ladies. I would never have gone for a second opinion with a new RE, I may not have gone for the surgery out of fear, but I did it.
This is your year!!

@babycanuck: I'm always happy to see someone graduate!
I just called and paid my transfer fee! It's really happening, as long as my lining cooperates! I've never had a problem with it in my previous cycles though.

@PurplePumps: will you be retrieving eggs in late January or Feb?
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
@sarahnicole218: The one thing I heard and it did happen to me was that my RE wanted me on BCP for about 2 months before starting the ivf cycle. It was definitely hard to hear that I couldn't start my cycle that month. The BCP helps quiet your ovaries before you start stimulating them with hormones. Letting you know so you brace yourself for all the waiting.

@bluestriped bee: @PurplePumps: @Leialou: praying for your upcoming cycles/fets! @Mrs. Jacks: That sounds like the absolute perfect thing this do, especially before you have 3 kids!
And big news in the Pinata house! A week ago today we got a call that a birthmom who had already given birth chose us to be the parents of her baby girl! We were scheduled to meet with the birthmom and were told that the baby girl would be leaving the nicu (she was born a few weeks early) later that week. But, after we met birthmom on Monday we found out baby girl would actually be ready to go home Tuesday! So, after knowing about her for less than 72 hours we brought her home on the 30th! It has been a WHIRLWIND! We only had Monday night to prepare, which meant cleaning out the office and that's all we had time to do. We are in total survival mode right now but when life settles (and there's actually a nursery) I will blog the longer version!
So, no fertility treatment for awhile for us. we are very tired but very happy.
Wishing so hard for all of you that you get great bfp news in 2015!

@bluestriped bee: Thank you, I will mentally prepare myself for this possibility. It will be disappointing, but I will still feel better when we have a plan in place!

So, I have been on a Facebook timeout for a while now. It was getting too hard to see the pregnancy announcements and especially the pregnancy complaints! But I had to get on to contact my friend's family about something and I saw that an old high school friend had posted a link to this blog post. It was beautiful and, of course, made me cry this morning. But I thought I'd share because it's nice to see a little compassion being spread around to encourage awareness of infertility. I realize this blog post is almost a year old, so maybe some of you have seen it before, but I hadn't.
