I'm doing alright this week. Feeling good because Friday is my last day before Christmas vacation. I'm nervous about seeing my sister and meeting her fiance this weekend, but I'm sure I'll survive it.
No updates. Just counting down the days until January 2nd.

@pui: Counting down with you
@Leialou: FX for you!
@Mrs. Polish: A social media break is good once in a while. Thank you for thinking of us.

I am doing alright this week except that I don't want to work anymore! Hahaha, my last day is the 23rd and then I don't have to be back in the office until the 2nd.
I have a pretty big update from earlier today. We met with our new RE (and clinic) today and I am already much happier there. It has a more intimate feel and it seems much better organized, you get an appointment for cycle monitoring, etc. The RE went over all of our testing and interestingly enough she felt that our issues were more "unexplained" than anything else. She felt that the endo on my side was relatively minor and that overall SO's sperm parameters were reasonable
Our plan is to do at least 2 more IUI's with Femera or Clomid and then re-evaluate in April if we are not pg before then. I am feeling positive about everything right now. Hoping that I can hold onto this feeling through the holidays.
ETA: we are re-checking my AMH before deciding on whether to switch to Clomid or stay with the Femera.

hey guys, i've been laying pretty low lately, and wanted to check back in
i got a bfp in late october after our 3rd IVF attempt (fresh, frozen, fresh). it was really hard for me to wrap my head around it as being real, and i was cautiously optimistic throughout this first tri, but was still kind of feeling "too good to be true" about the whole thing (which contributed to laying low and getting my lurk on).
unfortunately, after investigating some spotting last week, it turns out i had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks, and had the d&e on monday.
so, this is kind of a re-introduction of sorts after my little hiatus, and a thank you to you ladies for all of the support through everything to this point.
as far as updates, we're heading to the dr. again after a much needed vacation in early january, and will probably be figuring out scheduling for our next frozen transfer

@Mrs. Polish: do you have any updates?
I'm 3DPO & on progesterone again this cycle. Lots of cleaning and baking this weekend, so I'll be busy.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: no updates. Thanks for asking. AF finally showed. We discussed if I would use opks or not and I decided not to because they stress me out. I don't have much faith in this being a real cycle versus one started by left over bcp in my body. Thanks for asking.

just got off the phone with the RE's office. A BFN. Boo. The level was 4.51, so while it's likely negative, if AF doesn't arrive by Saturday, they want me to do another beta test.
I want to go home and cry. Instead, I have to put on a happy face and go to/run my company's holiday party tonight. Send me happy vibes, I'll need them!

No updates for me, still just waiting and of course still trying while we wait, but I don't have much hope for that!
My sister had a pacemaker put in yesterday and things got a little tricky/scary but I think she's going to be ok. She is awake and talking, and her pulse is much better since she got the pacemaker, so that's a good thing! My father's knee replacement is infected so he is going to have surgery either tomorrow or Saturday. Needless to say, I feel like I have been living at Boston hospitals this week. I'm exhausted!
@Mrs. Polish: I need to take those breaks every once in a while, completely understand!
@Leialou: Yay!! FX for you!
@mrswin: So glad that you found an RE that you are comfortable with. A good RE and a plan are half the battle. Glad you are feeling more positive!
@PastaAndPotato: I am SO sorry for your loss. I was so so sad when I read your post
@pui: Good luck this weekend! I'll be thinking of you.
@SunshineMcC: So sorry about the BFN Sending lots of positive thoughts your way! Sometimes putting on a happy face is so hard!

@pui: good luck with your sister! Hope it goes well.
@mrswin: new RE sounds good! Glad you have a plan in place that you are comfortable with.
@PastaAndPotato: I'm so sorry for your loss.
@SunshineMcC: hugs!
@Sunshine1810: Hope all is well with your family. That all sounds so stressful.
No updates for me, counting down to AF so I can have my HSG.
Oh that job I interviewed for last week? I got it!!! I start the 6th. My boss was really passive aggressive with me when I told her (not a huge surprise, she's part of the reason I want to leave) so I wasn't as happy as I could have been yesterday but I'm just going to let it roll off my back and countdown to my new job.

@MrsTal: Congrats on the new job! Very exciting and I am glad that you don't have to work for someone like that anymore.

Hi everyone. Not much to report here--just hanging out in the TWW and feeling not pregnant. I've pulled away from HB a bit just for a little breather.
@PastaAndPotato: I'm so, so sorry to read this update. It sounds like a dumb question to ask, but how are you doing? Where will you be taking a vacation? I hope it's a a time of restoration for you.
@SunshineMcC: hugs to you, friend. How did the company holiday party go? Has AF showed up?
@Sunshine1810: that's a lot of family health stuff! How is everyone doing? Will they be home for the holidays?
@mrswin: I'm so glad you have a good new RE! That's huge.

Here's my update for the week... I got all my IVF drugs! The only thing missing from this pic is the big box of Crinone (ick) and the sub-q needles for the Novarel. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the big huge needles until I read they were just for mixing I still don't have a med start date, but I'm thinking it'll be at least a week or two away.

Well my seeing of my sister and meeting my future BIL yesterday went okay but very not okay at the same time.
Yesterday around noon, SIL called DH and informed us that my hunch was right. She is 10 weeks pregnant. I knew she didn't just take a break from drinking. On the bright side at least I wasn't there when she revealed it to DH's family, but now I know she is going to reveal it to that rest of the family Christmas Eve... Not looking forward to it at all.
My sister isn't showing too much yet... Her fiancé and I never spoke, he's pretty quiet, but he seemed nice enough.
So basically, both my sister and SIL are pregnant this Christmas. It also feels like most of the TTC 6 months board is also now pregnant. I'm happy for them all but... Well, you know...
I'm surprisingly numb to it, although I did cry. I think it's time I spoke to my ILs about our IF in the hopes they will be more sensitive... But I don't think I am getting through Christmas unscathed.
I stayed up late reading the beginning of 1 Samuel for the 800th time.

@pui: Pui I can only imagine what you must feel, I see you said you feel numb to it all, I felt that way right after our last CP a month ago......make sure you take time to feel your hurt, I know it is hard right now with holidays and such!
I too read that bible verse a lot!!!!!! Not only does it show God does great things I can relate to how Hannah is so broken that she is depicted as drunk .....sometimes my emotions are soooo much a can barley explain them!
I read this somewhere: IF from the outside you can't understand it, from the inside you can't explain it!!!!
Best of luck to you and we WILL get our BFP too!!!!!!!

@pui: I'm so sorry that yesterday was so tough for you having two immediate family members pregnant. If you feel like talking to your in-laws will help then you should do what feels right. I hope you can find the strength you need to get through the holidays.

@shutterbug: thanks for the link. Those pics definitely made me smile!
@sunshine1810 @mrstal @faithfertility @happygal: thanks for the hugs! I felt them!
AF finally showed up today. My RE actually had me go back yesterday for another beta b/c my hcg was 4.5, and it was borderline. It had dropped to 2.85 yesterday. DH & I talked and think we're going to take a month off and meet with our RE to talk about IVF. We're going to enjoy the holidays, and I get to go to the Caribbean for a girls trip in 3 weeks, so that'll be a nice break.
Merry Christmas to all, and thanks for your support. You're amazing! XO

@PastaAndPotato: Im so sorry for your loss. DH & I had a MC earlier this year, in the 8th week and it was really tough. Sending you prayers, hugs and a shoulder to cry on when you need it. Enjoy your vacation! I'm doing the same in January and really looking forward to it. XO
@ShutterBug: Good luck to you! Will be sending you positive thoughts! Will this be your first IVF? Please share lots, as we're considering this as a next step for us.
@pui & @faithfertility: thanks for sharing your faith on these boards. I'm struggling to find the balance between trusting God's plan and timing and really, really wanting to start a family. It's so hard. Thoughts and prayers to you both! XO
